Leonard is the deputy general manager of FAST LabsTM where he is responsible for supporting the operation of the $260m/yr world-class research organization defining the next generation of technology across the $6.2b/yr Electronics Systems’ defense and commercial portfolios business. His role includes managing day to day operational aspects of the business, participating or leading the business rhythm elements of FAST Labs, and meeting with key internal and external customers. Prior to this position, Leonard served in product line director roles for Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) within the Electronic Combat Systems business unit and Fusion, Battle Management and Computing (FBC) within FAST Labs. In these roles Leonard had profit and loss responsibility for portfolios of programs developing, manufacturing, fielding, and sustaining integrated electronic warfare solutions and autonomy enabling mission dominance in the most stressing environments. Dr. Lublin has been with BAE Systems for 23 years serving in a diversity of leadership roles spanning the development of new-to-the-world products that are current market leaders to the profit and loss management of diverse, complex technology portfolios. Dr. Lublin holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Buffalo and a doctorate’s degree in Control and Estimation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
