Humanetics Corporation is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company engaged in the accelerated discovery, development, and commercialization of proprietary drugs in markets with urgent and unmet needs with a focus on radiation modulators for medical countermeasures, oncology and respiratory indications. The company is developing BYOGRAYZ™ (BIO 300), a selective ERβ agonist, as a medical countermeasure (MCM) to prevent Acute Radiation Syndrome (ARS) resulting from ionizing radiation exposure due to a nuclear event or radiological incident. BYOGRAYZ is also a dual-use therapeutic and in addition to its prophylactic use for warfighters, has shown positive human results as a supportive/adjuvant care in multiple oncology indications and as a therapeutic for Inflammatory Pulmonary Disease (IPD). For use as a MCM, positive nonclinical efficacy and human safety data have been generated following the US FDA Animal Rule development pathway. The company recently received another $5 million grant bring the total funding received to take the product to FDA Emergency Use Authorization to over $80 million. The company anticipates filing in 2027 and pending FDA approval, sales to the US Government to follow thereafter.
