Kevin Rustagi
Kevin Rustagi is an entrepreneur and startup advisor.
For his formal education, he earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering / Product Design at MIT, along with an MBA MSc in Mechanical Engineering / Robotics from Stanford. He was also a Rhodes Scholarship Finalist. After turning down a full-time job to work on the iPhone, Kevin co-founded Ministry of Supply at the end of college (now 100k+ customers) and was the first business hire at LIFT Aircraft, departing in 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer.
Kevin helped build Ministry of Supply by hiring core team members and setting a Kickstarter category record. At LIFT, Kevin helped fundraise working with StartEngine, individual investors, and winning $8M+ in defense contracts. There, he co-led HR, pioneered the first autonomous medical evacuation drone aircraft for the US Army, and helped the company launch the first electric vertical aircraft consumer experience (now flying in Austin and at the World's Fair in Japan).
At present, he is advising startups in robotics, advanced air quality, and AI/film as well as serving on Austin's Light Rail Advisory Board.
Kevin's work has been featured in Forbes, NYTimes, Techcrunch, and on 60 Minutes (where Anderson Cooper flew the LIFT HEXA). Kevin also testified before the House Small Business Subcommittee on crowdfunding in support of the JOBS Act.
